La Historia de Liberty Path Law Group y la Fundación Futuro

En el año 1990, en una pequeña ciudad del estado de Georgia, Estados Unidos, un abogado visionario llamado Alejandro García fundó el bufete Liberty Path Law Group. Desde el inicio, su propósito fue claro: proveer representación legal honesta, cercana y profesional a inmigrantes que buscaban construir una vida nueva en un país lleno de oportunidades. En una época donde hablar de derechos para los inmigrantes era aún más difícil que hoy, Alejandro apostó por un modelo humano de atención legal.

Durante sus primeros años, el bufete creció paso a paso, ganándose la confianza de comunidades latinas, africanas y asiáticas. Con un enfoque directo en procesos de legalización, residencia, asilo y ciudadanía, Liberty Path Law Group se convirtió en un referente por su compromiso ético y su capacidad para luchar incluso en los casos más difíciles.

Sin embargo, a lo largo de los años, Alejandro presenció una realidad que no podía ignorar: muchas familias abandonaban sus procesos migratorios simplemente porque no podían costearlos. Esa injusticia fue el motor para una nueva etapa en su misión.

Así fue como en el año 2015, exactamente 25 años después de fundar el bufete, Alejandro creó la Fundación Futuro Justo, una organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a subvencionar entre el 30% y el 80% de los costos de trámites migratorios para personas con dificultades económicas. La fundación nació con un principio claro: “Ninguna familia debería perder su oportunidad de regularizarse por falta de dinero.”

Pero la Fundación Futuro Justo no solo ofrece ayuda económica. Implementó un sistema pionero de gestión virtual de casos, brindando acompañamiento en línea, asistencia emocional y preparación remota para comparecencias ante USCIS o tribunales de inmigración. Esto les permitió apoyar a migrantes en zonas rurales, madres solteras sin transporte, y personas que temían ser detenidas por su estatus.

En esta década de funcionamiento, más de 14.000 personas han recibido asistencia directa gracias a la fundación. Desde trabajadores agrícolas hasta víctimas de violencia doméstica, pasando por refugiados políticos y jóvenes soñadores (DREAMers), todos han encontrado en Liberty Path Law Group y la Fundación Futuro Justo una mano amiga en el momento más crítico de sus vidas.

Hoy, en 2025, Liberty Path Law Group cumple 35 años al servicio de la comunidad inmigrante, consolidado como uno de los bufetes más respetados del país. Su legado no se mide solo en sentencias ganadas, sino en vidas reconstruidas, familias reunidas y sueños alcanzados. |

From the very beginning, his purpose was clear: to provide honest, compassionate, and professional legal representation to immigrants seeking to build a new life in a land full of opportunity. At a time when advocating for immigrant rights was even more difficult than it is today, Alejandro committed to a human-centered model of legal service.

So in 2015, exactly 25 years after founding the firm, Alejandro established the Futuro Justo Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to subsidizing between 30% and 80% of immigration process costs for individuals facing financial hardship. The foundation was born with a clear principle: “No family should lose their opportunity to regularize their status due to lack of money.”

But the Futuro Justo Foundation didn’t stop at financial assistance. It implemented a pioneering virtual case management system, providing online support, emotional assistance, and remote preparation for USCIS and immigration court appearances. This allowed them to support migrants in rural areas, single mothers without transportation, and individuals afraid of being detained due to their status.

In its decade of operation, more than 14,000 people have received direct assistance from the foundation. From farmworkers and domestic violence survivors to political refugees and young DREAMers, all have found a helping hand in Liberty Path Law Group and the Futuro Justo Foundation at the most critical moments of their lives.

Today, in 2025, Liberty Path Law Group celebrates 35 years of service to the immigrant community, firmly established as one of the most respected law firms in the country. Its legacy is not measured solely in cases won, but in lives rebuilt, families reunited, and dreams fulfilled.
